BENEFITS OF NATIONAL MINORITY STATUS FOR JAIN COMMUNITY

1. Under the Indian Constitutional Law Jains Minority can demand protection and administrative control & management for their Thirthakshetras (Pilgrims) and our religious Institution, so no other religious Group or fanatics can illegally encroach our worship like sacred heritage place of Girnar in Gujarat has been taken.

2. Under the Indian Constitutional Law Jain religious Saints or Munies will have protection from freedom of movement to practice their religion & spread Jain principle of Ahmisa & compassion among other people.

3. Autonomy to the Jain minority religious, educational or cultural institutions under the Indian Constitution.

4. Jain trust or organisation can open and operate Colleges or Schools and can control administrative matters and which will empower the Jain minority to reserve 50% of the Seats to the Jain Students & have 100% Management and Administrative Rights under Article 29 & 30 of the Indian Constitution. Eg St. Xavier's College, Mumbai or St. Stephen College, New Delhi does for Christian Minority Student.

5. With National Minority status poor and needy Jain Students can avail Bank Loans & various Scholarships for School & Higher Education under Prime Minister’s New 15 Point Program for welfare of Minorities & various State Govt program.

6. Student Interest free loans & Scholarships for higher Study in foreign countries like USA or UK

7. Government will fund & encourage educational & research in Jainism at School & University level.

8. Free & Professional pre-recruitment Training with Hostel’s for Civil Services, IAS, IPS, IFS, UPSC, State Administrative services exams, Postal Services, Nationalised Banks, Railways, Central & State Government Jobs. (Only for Minorities)

9. Special Programs by Central Govt. & various States Govt. for Youth & Women’s Educational, Economic & Political empowerment & many such programs.

10. Women Empowerment prog i.e. Educational, Economic & in Govt Jobs as the Jain Women have the worst representation in Govt. Employment. Even Worst that Dalits & Muslims according to 2001 & 2011 Population census.

11. Loans and Marketing & Skill Training for opening new Business i.e. encouraging Self-employment model.

12. Quota in Housing Scheme under MHADA, INDIRA AWAS & RAJIV AWAS YOJNA and Central & State Govt. projects for Housing with Quota's for JAIN Minority.
